- Open Obsidian and click the **Settings** (gear) icon in the bottom left corner. - Select **Files and links** from the left-hand menu. - Scroll down to the **Default location for new notes** section. - Choose the **In the folder specified below** option. - Under the **Folder to create new notes in** field, click and type or select your **Inbox** folder. Works nicely.
