Laojia Yilu (老架一路, "Old Frame, First Routine") is the basic/foundational form of Chen-style tai chi — the one usually meant by "the Chen first form." It was consolidated by Chen Changxing (1771–1853) from earlier Chen family material, and is the form students learn before Laojia Erlu (the more explosive "Cannon Fist" second routine) or the later Xinjia ("New Frame") sequences developed by Chen Fake.
Movement counts vary by lineage and by how postures are split or combined — sources give anywhere from 72 to 76 — so treat the list below as one commonly cited version (via Wikipedia's Chen-style Laojia forms article) rather than the single canonical count. Repeated posture names (Single Whip, Buddha's Warrior Pounds Mortar, etc.) recur through the form by design — they're anchor postures the form returns to.
